Pete and I take part in this annual streaming marathon every February to raise funds and awareness for SpecialEffect. The charity transforms the lives of people with physical disabilities through the innovative use of technology, and uses video games to enhance confidence, independence and rehabilitation.
Advancements in technology have opened up an exciting world of possibilities.
But despite this progress, there are many individuals with disabilities who still face barriers when it comes to fully participating. This is why I support SpecialEffect’s mission to break down these walls and level the playing field for everyone.
To quote my other-half: it was alright. There were slightly more visitors than in the previous year, but we still had benefit of being able to try any game we wanted to without having to queue. These included Viewfinder by Sad Owl Studios along with Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector by Black Lab Games for Pete.
